Original French Watch Protector and Chain

Original French watch protector case and chain.  The case is a size 23 and is marked Argus Depose.  It is in fair condition.  The window is a bit cloudy and yellowed.  The case has some tarnishing.  The chain measures approx. 14" long and the diameter of the case is just under 2" across.  This would be something a German soldier would use.
