Cigarette Case with Iron Cross

1930s/1940s era cigarette case with a handpainted Iron Cross.  The case itself is "original" but the artwork was added later as a reenacting piece. The case is marked "R. & G. Co." and "La Mode."  R & G Co. is Ripley & Gowan Co., a US company based out of Massachusetts.  It comes with the cigarettes inside. The case shows wear, chipped paint and some rusting in places.
